Headbanging is a dance style where one violently shakes their head in time with music, typically rock or heavy metal. RR is a set of wigs that are worn to simulate headbanging while playing music. The purpose is to wear the wig and move the head up and down to enhance the rock music experience by pumping up the volume. One wig play drum and vocal and the other bass and guitar. This installation draws heavily from the culture of musical video games, but it immerses the player in the role of a rock star, rather than simply a player in front of a TV.
