Niklas Roy is a Berlin-based artist and “hot glue engineer” who explores the intersection of art, science, and technology through humorous installations and machines. His work is rooted in a DIY philosophy and incorporates various materials and techniques to create interactive media. He is particularly interested in the history and imagined futures of technology, and has created works such as giant pinball machines, water organs, particle accelerators, and games. He is also an active member of the Eniarof collective with Kati Hyyppä, and has participated in multiple editions of the Eniarof project since 2017. He is also a big fan of cable ties and can’t live without them.
