Pink VS Blue

Pink vs Blue is an interactive installation inspired by 90s arcade machines. Two bumpers, one pink and the other blue, allow two competitors to engage in a reinterpreted arm-wrestling match. This is a modified version of a game that the artist had programmed on the Amstrad 6128 in 1989. With a nod to the iconic game Red vs Blue, the battle here evolves and adapts to contemporary sensibilities. Pink vs Blue evolves with each presentation through various challenges that move away from the initial arm wrestling concept. Pink vs Blue uses a vector imaging laser projector, intentionally contrasting with pixel and bitmap images.
